- This Sunday, Pastor Jeremiah continues our December sermon series, Oh Christmas Tree. Our scripture will be from 1 Kings 19:1-18.
- The Women’s Breakfast on 12/16 will be at the home of Karen Bomar at 467 Rockledge Road, Spruce Pine. Karen is providing coffee and juice. If you are able, please bring a breakfast dish to share. Also, if you want to participate in the Christmas Cookie Exchange, here’s how it works:
1- Make cookies.
2- Wrap groups of a dozen cookies. (Paper plates or ziplock bags work as long as packaged in dozens)
3- For each dozen you bring, you get to choose a dozen to take home.
4- ENJOY!
- Don’t forget to share the joy with a child this season! This Saturday, 12/9 is the last day to bring an unwrapped toy for the Neighbors Feeding Neighbors Toy Drive. The donation box is located in the lobby.
- A MealTrain has been set up for the Hollifield family – Ethan, Lynsy, and baby Thames! If you would like to bless them with a meal as they settle in, here is the link- https://mealtrain.com/51oqqw
- Home Group Leaders – If your group has finished their winter mission project and you have not been reimbursed, please see Carla for reimbursement ASAP!
