  • Last Sunday, Pastor Mark taught from
  • Isaiah 7:14, 53:5 for the first Sunday of Advent. This Sunday, Colton Burse will teach from Luke 1:39-56, 2:8-20 for the second Sunday of Advent.
  • Grove, you are invited to join us for a Family Christmas Celebration on December 6th at 6pm. We will have dinner together and enjoy a Christmas concert by our worship band! Please register here so we can plan food appropriately: https://thegrovesp.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3297454
  • The Grove will kick off our Meal Bag Ministry on Wednesday, December 10th at 5pm. We will provide all supplies and will pack bags that contain all ingredients to cook a meal like chicken chili, tuna casserole, etc. The bags will then be handed out to the community weekly. Our first time for the community to pick up bags will be Thursday, December 11th at 3pm. Please join us in this  outreach!
  • Also, as we enter this season of celebration and over-indulgence, please remember our Frozen Food Ministry that supports the M.Y. Life Center in Burnsville and the many young families who come to them for help. Rather than throwing away leftovers, take food containers that we provide home, fill, label them, and return to the freezer in the lobby.
  • Did you notice the beautiful barn wood wall in the lobby around the Jesus sign? That was the work of The Grove’s newly revamped “Facilities Team” which keeps our building and grounds in tip top shape! Do you have construction, maintenance, electrical, etc. expertise? Would you like to learn? Deacon Wayne Ellis is leading this very important team, so please let him know if you would like to be a part of it.

  • OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE: The Grove has many opportunities for our members and regular attenders to “plug in” and serve. Examples include helping with setup and cleaning after church of the hospitality coffee bar, setting up communion in the sanctuary, reading the announcements at the end of the service, serving in Kids’ Ministry (must be a covenant member with a clear background check), being a part of the worship team or the audio/video team, setting up and tearing down for special events, etc. Please let Carla know if you would like more information.

The Grove Church Office: The office number is 828/520-1200, or you can reach us always by email at office@TheGroveSP.com.
