Winter Events – Mark your calendars for the following dates:
- Meal Bag Ministry – We will distribute bags on Thursdays from 3-6pm.
- Movie Night: January 24th (6pm) – Home Alone
- Church Potluck & Next Steps Class: Sunday, February 1st. No RSVP needed.
- Youth Group – Kicking off on February 15th!
- Home Groups – Starting the week of February 15th and running through the week of May 17th, with a break for Easter.

Teaching & Scripture Overview: Last Sunday, Josh Benfield taught from Acts 22:1-29. This Sunday, Brooks Oakley will teach from Acts 22:30 – 23:11.
Opportunities to Serve: The Grove has many opportunities for our members and regular attenders to “plug in” and serve. Examples include helping with setup and cleaning after church of the hospitality coffee bar, setting up communion in the sanctuary, reading the announcements at the end of the service, serving in Kids’ Ministry (must be a covenant member with a clear background check), being a part of the worship team or the audio/video team, setting up and tearing down for special events, etc. Please let Carla know if you would like more information.
Updating Church Membership: As we prepare to update our church membership, please take a moment this week to read through the updated doctrine statement and membership covenant. These documents will be available in the lobby or you can contact our office for a copy. We are asking for all current members to resign a copy of the membership covenant.
