Winter Events – Mark your calendars for the following dates:
- Meal Bag Ministry – We will distribute bags on Thursdays from 3-6pm.
- Movie Night: Postponed until January 31st (6pm) – Home Alone
- Church Potluck & Next Steps Class: Sunday, February 1st after the service. If you would like to bring a dish, please let us know what you plan to make here: https://mealtrain.com/ky6422.
- Youth Group – Kicking off on Wednesday, February 18th! Youth 7th grade and up are welcome to join us from 6:30-8:00. Snacks will be provided.
- Home Groups – Starting the week of February 15th and running through the week of May 17th, with a break for Easter. Home Group registrations will open up on Sunday, January 25th!

Teaching & Scripture Overview: Last Sunday, Brooks Oakley taught teach from Acts 22:30 – 23:11. This coming Sunday, Pastor James Byrd will teach from Acts 23:12-35.
Opportunities to Serve: The Grove has many opportunities for our members and regular attenders to “plug in” and serve. Examples include helping with setup and cleaning after church of the hospitality coffee bar, setting up communion in the sanctuary, reading the announcements at the end of the service, serving in Kids’ Ministry (must be a covenant member with a clear background check), being a part of the worship team or the audio/video team, setting up and tearing down for special events, etc. Please let Brianna know if you would like more information.
Updating Church Membership: As we prepare to update our church membership, please take a moment this week to read through the updated doctrine statement and membership covenant. These documents will be available in the lobby or you can contact our office for a copy. We are asking for all current members to resign a copy of the membership covenant.
