Sunday, February 1st Announcements
Winter Events – Mark your calendars for the following dates:
- Meal Bag Ministry – We will distribute bags on Thursdays from 3-6pm.
- Movie Night: Rescheduled due to weather to this Saturday, February 7th (6pm) – Home Alone
- Church Potluck & Next Steps Class: Rescheduled to this coming Sunday, February 8th after the service. If you would like to bring a dish, please let us know what you plan to make here: https://mealtrain.com/ky6422.
- Youth Group – Kicking off on Wednesday, February 18th! Youth 7th grade and up are welcome to join us from 6:30-8:00. Snacks will be provided.
- Home Groups – Home group registration is open! These groups start the week of February 15th and run through the week of May 17th, with a break for Easter. Check out our website to register: https://www.thegrovesp.com/https-www-thegrovesp-com-groups/.

Prayer for the Dark Family: Please keep the Dark Family in your prayers this week as they serve in Uganda.
Teaching & Scripture Overview: This Sunday, Pastor James Byrd will teach from Acts 23:12-35. Next week, Josh Benfield will be teaching from Acts 24:1-27.
Opportunities to Serve: The Grove has many opportunities for our members and regular attenders to “plug in” and serve. Examples include helping with setup and cleaning after church of the hospitality coffee bar, setting up communion in the sanctuary, reading the announcements at the end of the service, serving in Kids’ Ministry (must be a covenant member with a clear background check), being a part of the worship team or the audio/video team, setting up and tearing down for special events, etc. Please let Brianna (office@thegrovesp.com) know if you would like more information.
Updating Church Membership: As we prepare to update our church membership, please take a moment this week to read through the updated doctrine statement and membership covenant. These documents will be available in the lobby or you can contact our office for a copy. We are asking for all current members to resign a copy of the membership covenant.
