  • Last Sunday, Pastor Mark taught from Exodus 6:1-13. This Sunday guest pastor, Mark Knox of Steadfast Church, will teach from 1 Peter 1:3-9.
  • Home Groups resume the week of September 7th! We encourage everyone to follow the biblical example and join a small group so friendships and support networks can be formed to build up and encourage one another. Contact one of the pastors or group leaders if you need help signing up.
  • For the ladies, tickets are now available for the Grateful Girl Gathering! This year’s conference will be held on September 20 here in Spruce Pine. Tickets can be purchased on their website, you can also speak with Lauren Bomar if you have any questions!
  • The Grove Youth have a weekend trip planned to Pigeon Forge, August 29th-31st. Please see Colton or Katie for information and paperwork.

 

  • OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE: The Grove partners with Neighbors Feeding Neighbors to serve the people of Mitchell County who are in need. NFN is in need of delivery drivers to take meals into the community. If you would be interested in volunteering, please contact Carla. Also check the bulletin board in the lobby to volunteer for help revamping the kitchen island facade. Be sure to check out the great job done by Billy & Lewis Bomar painting the nursery!
